Shirley D Robinson

March 12, 1935 - February 22, 2026.

Shirley D. Robinson, 90, originally of Cardington, Ohio, passed on to eternal rest Sunday, February 22 in Lincoln, Nebraska. She was preceded in death by her husband of 67 years, Robert E. Robinson.

Shirley was born March 12, 1935, to Mildred (Smiley) Fawble and Gerald Fawble of Cardington. She graduated from Cardington High School in 1953.

In her life Shirley was active in Cardington Methodist Church, The American Legion Auxiliary, Pythian Sisters, and F Street Neighborhood Church. She retired as head of the Cardington Public Library in 2002.

Shirley is survived by her three sons Rob, Linn, and Jim; sister Geraldine & Doug Osborne; sister-in-law Helen Fawble; brother-in-law Clarence Robinson; sister-in-law Patty Robinson; grand-daughter Taryn and great-grand-daughter Kaiya; grand-daughter Shosheana and great-grand-children Courtney, Brittany and Chancellor; grandson Nicholas; and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral Services for Shirley will be held at Gompf Funeral Services in Cardington, Ohio at 10:00 AM on Saturday, March 7,02026 with an hour of calling from 9:00-10:00 AM.
