Joy Ann (Parker) Huffine

Joy Ann Huffine, 73, of Cardington, Ohio, passed away peacefully at home on February 26, 2026. She was born on May 15, 1952, in Norwalk, Ohio, and lived a life centered on love, family, and simple joys that brought happiness to those around her.

Joy was preceded in death by her beloved husband, Harry Huffine; her sons, Harry Daniel and Chance Huffine; and her daughter-in-law, Lora Huffine. Though their loss was deeply felt, Joy carried their memories with her always.

She is lovingly remembered by her sister, Connie Bennett; her children, Mardean Keller; Nadean Huffine of Cardington, Ohio; Michael Huffine of Cardington, Ohio; and Jenny Huffine of Springfield, Ohio. Joy was a proud and devoted grandmother to Amber and Natasha James; Shelby (Brandon) Nichols; Winston Kilgore; Cherokee Huffine; Emily (Tom) Caskey; Elan Howard; Chayton Howard; Katie Huffine; Kyla Huffine; Trevor Huffine; and Abagail Huffine. She was also blessed with numerous great-grandchildren, as well as many beloved nieces and nephews who will cherish her memory.

Joy worked for a time with Master Maintenance, but her most treasured role was that of a loving stay-at-home mother and, later, a deeply devoted grandmother. Her home was a place of warmth, comfort, and unconditional love where family always came first.

She found happiness in life's simple pleasures. Joy loved playing bingo and trying her luck with scratch-off tickets, often sharing laughter and excitement with family and friends. Summer days were frequently spent yard sells, searching for little treasures and enjoying the adventure of the hunt. She also enjoyed crafting and relaxing with her favorite home makeover shows, finding inspiration and comfort in creativity and cozy spaces.

Joy Ann Huffine will be remembered for her caring heart, her quiet strength, and the love she gave so freely to her family. Her presence will be deeply missed, but the memories she created and the love she shared will live on in the hearts of all who knew her.

Friends may call on Thursday, March 5, 2026, from 12:00-1:00 PM at Gompf Funeral Service, 440 Center Street, Cardington, Ohio 43315. The funeral service will directly follow at 1:00 PM. Following the service burial will take place in the Fulton Cemetery.
